Does anyone know if it's possible to take a premade template and insert your own picture into it? I just can't figure it out.
I would do the DIY, but I don't like the colors offered - thanks! |

Go to Step 2, Export and Import, and download the template that is nearest to overall design and color that you want. It will come to you as a zipped file. Use something like Winzip to unzip it. Use a good image editor to create replacement image/s and save it/them with the exact same dimensions and filename/s as the original. Zip the whole thing back up again with the new images. Be sure to keep the same exact directory structure as the original set of files had. Then use Import Template to re-import the new zip.
If you decide to change anything else in the template, or to create a completely new one of your own, you must follow EXACTLY the template specifications put out by RV Sitebuilder. The specs can be found here: http://www.rvsitebuilder.com/templateSpecification.doc I would not recommend changing the code in the template or its CSS, nor trying to create a completely custom template that you import, unless you have experience working with code, a lot of patience, and a lot of hair available for pulling out of your head in frustration. The specs are not forgiving of any deviations. Anne |

Thanks Anne -
I'm guessing you already know I don't have experience working with code! Don't have lots of hair either, so thanks for the head's up :O) Valerie |
