Try these:

1) Make very sure that your browser is set to ALWAYS look for a newer version of any page, and not to work off a cached version of a page from any previous visit.

2) Go back to Step 5, select HTML mode for each page, and then just Save each page in turn without changing any of the code. Publish the site again after you have saved all the pages this way. Then close your browser, and log back in via cPanel -> RV Sitebuilder again.
