Spam Assissin just changed _HITS_ from "01.2" to "1.2" . Now the low number _HITS_ are scattered when I sort by subject. This makes it difficult to review low number _HITS_ as there is no way to sort them together. What to do? I get 1000+ spams every day.

There is not much we can do about it without rewriting SA which we can't. Even if you change your /.spamassassin/userprefs file, that file is called in the main SA program - which if we change that will be messed up or worse the next time cpanel updates (frequently).

However one method of reducing spam that is working for a lot of people is to use only non-standard email addresses, and then blackhole everything else. I see that you are still using the catchall for all domains in your account.

With spammers getting more effective every day, spam filter programs seem to be having a harder time keeping up. This is why blackhole can help; at least you will only have to deal with incoming mail to a few specific email addresses.

See this post for instructions on how to setup blackhole. (http://forums.12wonderhosting.com/index.php?act=ST&f=10&t=94)
