To all customers on "darrion" and "magic" servers:
As reported by Network Access Corp, where we have our servers darrion and magic:
"Sunday, February 8th, 2004 Net Access Corporation will be performing service affecting maintenance in Parsippany, NJ (node code: OCT). The maintenance window will commence at 2:00 am EST. During this maintenance window we will be replacing the supervisor card in switch8.oct.nac.net. Customers served out of Parsippany, NJ data center will experience a brief service interruption while we replace the supervisor card. We do not anticipate this maintenance lasting more than 10 minutes. The maximum duration of this maintenance window is one (1) hour. During this maintenance window some customers may experience a loss of connectivity, increased latency and/or packet loss."
Again this affects only our customers on the darrion and magic servers.
Sorry for any inconvenience this maintenance will cause. If you notice downtime that exceeds NAC's maximim 1-hour window estimate, please let me know -- although I will be keeping an eye on it too ;)
