I backup a copy of my site. so i can make modifications.. however those modifications did not go well... so i wanted to run the restore.. form cpanel
It never completes the restore.. it looks like it's running.. however after a few minutes, the page turns to "site not found".
Please advice.
Jimmy
P.S.> my domain is hyratechnology.com

You have two separate issues going on in your account:
1) You do not have enough disk space left to restore your entire web site via cPanel. cPanel restores use temp files, but since files get added/overwritten during a restore and not first deleted, there has to be enough room in the account to move all that stuff into it. In your case you've got a 100 MB-quota account and only 8 MB space left which is not enough to restore 92+ MB of stuff.
2) You have uploaded a whole bunch of files with filenames containing illegal characters %%, ^, etc into your public_html/shop/templates_c directory. Such files cannot be recognized and therefore can't be moved, deleted, overwritten, etc. by normal methods, so cPanel may choke when trying to overwrite them.
If you need a full restore I can do one from root from nightly, weekly, or monthly backup but this will affect your ENTIRE hosting account. Otherwise if you only want part of the site restored you should untar your Home Directory backup zip on your local computer and manually delete/upload via FTP the replacements for whatever specific stuff you need restored. MySQL db's, if you made backups, can be restored either via cPanel restore (assuming you make room in your account first), or via phpMyAdmin.

Anne,
If you restore my account to a week ago, is the restore only for files or mysql db as well?
I only need to restore my files to 3 days ago.. DB is fine..
I did not make any changes to my site for a long time. so any recent restore dated at least 3 days ago would be fine.

should be able to restore just the files from weekly backup.

Could you do that? Restore the files to last week.. leave the db alone..
