Network upgrades will be performed on our servers at the GNAX data center beginning Friday night March 10th going into Saturday March 11th from 11:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. EST time US.

The network connections will be upgraded to a larger pipe which will increase our capacity for added stability and faster connection speeds as we continue to grow.

Our new GigE fiber has been laid and our new router is in place and tested.

This upgrade will allow for our continued growth by providing a better connection for all with less latency and network congestion.

All switches that the servers are currently connected to will be connected to the new router and GigE line during this time period. This will affect every server on our racks in the data center. Expected downtime for any one server is about 10 minutes to 20 minutes. This should be a very simple process of unplugging the network connection cable from the main switch and then plugging it into the new router. But please note as with any maintenance there could be a longer period of downtime during this window if unexpected or unforeseen problems do happen.

This maintenance window was chosen to have the least effect on the majority of our customers and so that we could make arrangements for an experienced network engineer to be on hand in case there is any problems so they can be addressed quickly during this change over.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition.
