Hi I just ordered a hosting package I have updated the nameservers at 123reg ......anyway I know this takes 24/48 hours ....theres no problem there, I can also access ftp and cpanel in the mean time via the direct I.P. My question is ........Is it possible to view my index.html page on the server using the ip until the dns servers are updated? .....I deleted the default index.html on the server and uploaded my own index file but when I goto the server ip I get re directed to the 1-2 wonderhosting site.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Hi David,
Yes. See "How To's for Hosting Customers" -- just login at www.12wonderwebservices.com with your 12wonder member name, then scroll down a bit in Member Home and look for the section entitled "UPLOADING PAGES WITH FILE MANAGER OR FTP ". A couple of paragraphs down from there it gives the format of the ip url you need to use to view your pages before DNS propagates.
By the way from where I am (-9 GMT), I can see DNS already resolved on your site - there is a plain white page with your web site name and "Hi this site is under construction". Shouldn't be too much longer now for your geographical region.
